    Description

    Permatex Red High Strength 262 Threadlocker is OEM specified. It is an all-purpose high strength threadlocker ideal for fasteners 3/8″ to 1″ (10mm to 25mm) in size. Designed for securing parts that must withstand heavy shock, vibration or extreme chemical or environmental conditions. Locks and seals while preventing parts from loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts. Conforms to ASTM D5363 AN0331 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade O).

    FEATURES

    • Permatex Red Permanent Strength Threadlocker protects threads from corrosion and prevents vibration loosening
    • Designed for locking fasteners 3/8″ to 1″ (10 mm to 25mm)
    • Designed for securing parts that must withstand heavy shock, vibration or extreme chemical or environmental conditions
    • Temperature range -54°C to 150°C (-65°F to 300°F)
    • Extra effort and localized heat may be required for removal
    • OEM specified
    • Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts
    • Conforms to ASTM D5363 AN0331 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade O).
    • Not for use on plastic parts
    • Applications: Assembly with air tools, cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, transmission shaft bolts, shock absorber bolts, frame bolts and similar fasteners subject to higher shock and vibration
